When will Michigan learn that Jim Tressel is a fake!!!!

When will the brass at the University of Michigan learn that Jim Tressel is garbage....when will they learn?.....in Monday’s newspaper, the USA Today released how the coaches voted in the final poll of the regular season.....Michigan head coach Lloyd Carr voted Ohio State number 1 in the nation....he showed his loyalty to his fellow Big Ten school even after Tressel “fucked” him over last year by refusing to vote in the final poll because he wanted to “do the honorable thing” and not have any input on who his team would play in the National Title game.....Michigan never learns....

So a year has passed and Carr voted Ohio State #1.....there were six other Big Ten coaches who voted in the final poll: Bret Bielema, Wisconsin; Mark Dantonio, Michigan State; Bill Lynch, Indiana; Joe Tiller, Purdue; Ron Zook, Illinois, and Sleeze Ball Tressel.....with this being Carr’s final season at Michigan, Bielema, Lynch, Tiller, and Zook all voted Michigan in the Top 25 - usually around #23 or #24.....it was obvious these coaches voted for Michigan to at least make the Top 25 because they wanted to support their fellow Big Ten school and let Carr at least finish in the Top 25 in his last year.....all the Big Ten coaches voted that way except Senator Sleezeball Tressel and his no brained little brother at Michigan State - Dantonio (photo - left) ....

I would have no problem if Tressel didn’t want to vote for Michigan, but he is always talking about supporting the fellow Big Ten schools, yada, yada.....he says one thing, but does another.....would it have hurt him to vote Michigan #25 being that it is Carr’s last season?.....where is his support for the Big Ten now?....Carr showed his support by voting Ohio State #1......

This is typical Tressel....he comes across as Mr. Nice Guy who is always using the words “honor” and “respect”, but when the camera is off of him, he is a slippery sleeze....he is a fake...and that goes the same for his little brother in East Lansing.....in the end I blame Michigan for taking Tressel’s shit for the last few years.....that is why Michigan needs to hire a coach, like a Steve Spurrier, Les Miles, or Jim Harbaugh, who will not allow that smug midget bastard in Columbus to shit all over the Maize and Blue anymore....

Sounds like sour grapes to me. Michigan wasn't good enough to be a top-25 team in anybody's poll this year. Deal with it.

If you're going to vote in a poll, you vote the way you truly feel. Otherwise, why do it? Tressel probably felt (justifiably so) that Michigan wasn't a top-25 team. Why should you cast a ballot one way just because it's Carr's final season? This is college football, not a 9-year-old girl's birthday party invitation list.

As for Dantonio, are you surprised? There is some bad blood there, given the comments Hart made and the Spartans' taking issue with him.

Bottom line: Carr's a grown man. He is respected in the game. He is secure in his place in it. He earned it. He doesn't need a shallow pat on the back on his way out.

By the way, whether it's true or not (I don't know) how can you post a comment about Manningham and Arrington spending all their time doing someting illegal without any evidence of it? Aren't you worried about getting sued?

With all due respect, I must disagree with you, stiles.

Last year Tressel was in an impossible situation. He essentially was in the crazy position of voting for who is opponent would be in the national title game. He recently admitted that he was reprimanded by the Coaches' Association for not voting in the final poll. This year, Tressel was obligated to vote in the final poll because of last year's events.

I agree with you that Tressel should have had the moxy last season to vote his true ballot. However, I don't think that the other Big Ten coaches did OSU a "favor" by voting them at #1. Those coaches had the most exposure to OSU as a football team and clearly felt, based on the inconsistencies of other teams in the top 10, that the Buckeyes were deserving of the number one ranking. There decision was clearly in line with the majority of national polls and the ballots of other coaches.

Finally, regarding Michigan in the rankings: There is a difference in supporting your conference and submitting an accurate poll. Let's face it: Michigan was NOT a top 25 team this year. Appalachian state, the debacle versus Oregon, and the final two losses to Wisconsin and OSU precluded Michigan from being in the top 25. I doubt that Tressel was the only coach who left them out of the top 25. Lloyd Carr is the last man on earth who would want sympathy votes for the Maize and Blue. Bottom line: you win your games, you earn your ranking. There should be no room for sentimental votes. You, a Michigan fan, should clearly understand that (1997 National Championship to Osbourne and the Cornhuskers).

Looking at this objectively, did Michigan actually deserve to be in the top 25?

They had four losses. The only four-loss teams in the Coaches' top-25 are Auburn, Arkansas, and Tennessee. Auburn and Arkansas both won their last games and Tennessee lost in its conference title game by a TD. Do you think that Michigan is better than any of those teams?

I think that Michigan was very lucky to remain ranked in any poll after the pathetic performance they put up against Wisconsin. If I were a Wolverine fan, I would have written off this team after that game. That was a joke.

If everyone fills their ballots with their own conference-mates rather than with what they really feel, then whats the point.

Finally, why get all bent out of shape over a freaking poll? Polls are dumb and meaningless.

I agree with everyone else here, Rick, Michigan sucks and didn't deserve to be ranked.

And why should they? What does it matter if they are #25? They are going to get waxed by Tebow anyway for another glorious 8-5 season.

equalizer, this is the internet, you can say whatever the hell you want. I heard you like little boys. While more than likely not true, I'm untouchable.

I never said that Michigan doesn't suck...if you read some of my past entries I have ripped them more than anyone...

You are just missing my point...that's all - no big deal

And exactly about this being the internet, this is my blog and I could write whatever the fuck I want...whoever doesn't like it can start their own blog...it's sad that the OSU fans are so fucking touchy when anyone ever questions Jim Tressel...

Yes, it's the Internet and you can (almost) say whatever you want. But you can't defame or slander people. There are laws against that.

Furthermore, what would stop Manningham and Arrington (or anyone else) from showing up at some blogger's doorstep and kicking his rear end?

gmoney might think he is untouchable, but that's a misnomer. There are ways to find out who posts what. It happens every day.

well if you dont think they should be ranked...

and Tressell doesn't think they should be ranked...
