A disgrace in the Sugar Bowl - Hawaii Sucks!!!

When reviewing the New Year's Day bowl games, there are three conclusions that I have come up with.....1. Southern Cal is the best team in the nation no matter who wins the LSU-Ohio State game on Monday night......2. Hawaii's performance in the Sugar Bowl was a disgrace....3. Colt Brennan will not make it in the NFL....

I want to elaborate a bit more about Hawaii's perforamance....all season long we had to hear about Brennan and all the records that he and his receivers set throughout their career.....but for the first time, Hawaii played a real college team - Georgia - and look what happened....Hawaii ran their mouth how they wanted to come to the mainland and show how good of a team they are.....I will say this, they will not be asked to another BCS Bowl game even if they go 12-0 again.....

I think it was unfair for the Fox announcers, Tom Brennaman and Charles Davis to baby the Hawaii team.....with the score standing 38-3, the announcers were defending Hawaii's season and how hard it was for them to make it to a BCS game.....that may be true, but let me say this, if Georgia was beating say, Notre Dame, Ohio State, or Southern Cal 38-3, these same announcers would not be coddling those teams.....these announcers did not have the guts to flat out say "Hawaii did not deserve to be in the Sugar Bowl"....a team like Arizona State or Clemson should have been playing Georgia....so if Hawaii wants to run with the big boys, then they should also take the criticism like the big boys.....Aloha and don't let the door hit you in the ass on your way back to the island....

Hey, isn't Hawaii one of our states?
Why is everyone treating the Hawaii team with such contempt. They were 12-0 going into the Sugar Bowl so how can anyone say they didn't belong there. I felt bad for them that they couldn't have done better, but those original remarks are uncalled for.
I hope they make it back again, and as a resident of New Orleans, I welcomed the difference having Hawaii in our Sugar Bowl brought to it. Their wonderful traditions and flair,God bless this team and state. Welcome back from a native New Orleanian, thanks for being here.

how is he stupid? He's telling the truth. We don't treat Hawaii as if its not a state. I mean we are dogging them out because we care. You suck, you suck. Washington sucks and we treat them as a state. I mean they wouldn't be playing if we didn't. Ill get to the point Hawaii is playing teams that suck like Washington. the whole WAC hasn't got 1 half decent team in it. so that 12-0 in the WAC would be a 3-9 anywhere else which is a pitiful record. The Hawaiians that just became fans this year not behind their team last year are talking smack about things that don't even matter. "We are undefeated" against who, Boise? which isn't what they were last year. Come to the SEC Hawaii and we'll show you how real football is played down here.

USC, the best team in the country? They lost to Stanford's backup QB....at HOME. I must disagree. Granted, they are playing exceptional football, but you cannot excuse that glaring deficit in their resume. A ranking is based both on who you've beaten but must also account for who you have lost to. Notre Dame was able to do something that USC couldn't....beat the Cardinal.

You prove my point then because USC did something that Ohio State could not do - Beat Illinois!

Oh, I think our big boys can take big boy criticisms like big boys. I think the announcers just got infected with our aloha spirit... it's contagious you know....

Anyway, I understand out team "sucked" on that Sugar Bowl, an yes, they may be a disgrace to the Football fanatics.... but we still love them :)

Aloha :)

P.S. Someone googled Sugar Bowl and ended up in my blog:
