The 70-year-old mascot last got a makeover about 30 years ago...many of the Purdue faithful are upset about the soon-to-be change of Pete...some are afraid that the new mascot will be "too cute" instead of fierce and rugged...

Glad to see that you are back, Ricky! Like the Golden Girl, Purdue Pete is a staple of Boilermaker athletics. Keep him. Halloween scares little kids as well.
