Terry Pluto of The (Cleveland) Plain Dealer writes about former Plain Dealer sports reporter Bill Nichols (photo, right) who died on Saturday... "Nichols spent 30 years at The Plain Dealer. He had some heart problems, but was well enough to have lunch with former Plain Dealer writers Eddie Dwyer and Dick Zunt on Friday at the Hometown Buffet in Parma. He died early Saturday morning at his home in Rocky River." ...
